Still in Awe

At the beginning of the Summer, 2013, we contacted Kenny Wagler about the possibility of building a storage building for us. While we were in his office near Odon, Indiana, he was able to quickly quote a price that was quite reasonable. And this was not for a standard building listed in his full-color brochure, but something we had designed ourselves. As the ground was not properly prepared yet, we were not in a hurry. It was important to make sure that time and rain leveled the site so there would be no issue in perfectly placing the building. In fact, during this wait time, we changed the design and presented those changes to Kenny. It didn’t faze him in the least. We wanted to wait for perfect weather for the installation. Even though we knew the whole project would be completed in record time, we didn’t want to be concerned about their working in the sunshine when it was 95 degrees nor when rain was forecast. Kenny was in complete agreement and worked according to our schedule. Yesterday, the crew of seven men arrived at 7:15 a.m. and proceeded to build our building according to our specifications. It was like watching time-lapse photography. Every worker knew what to do and not get in anyone else’s way. The whole process could not have been choreographed any better. When we purchased our home 18 months ago, there was a pool house in our backyard. We wanted this new building to be the “big brother.” We weren’t sure how old the pool house was, but it was at least eight years old. We were concerned that the pool house might have faded a little and the new metal roof and vinyl siding might not be a perfect match. But it was. And why?
